Welcome to the technical blog of sameh abdelhamid.
This blog will primarily be focused on automation and load testing however, as different challenges occur throughout my career, they too will be shared on this blog. The idea of starting a blog transcended from a colleague of mine, Tim Koopmans – who runs his own blog http://90kts.com which has great content on automation and performance testing, as well as other nifty things.
I wanted to start a blog for two reasons;
Firstly, I wanted a centralised repository for the information that I have learned in my career that I could always find easily if the same situation ever arose in future contracts.
Secondly, it allows me to share my knowledge with the wider community which will hopefully assist people around the world…which brings me to open source…
Recently I have found a new love for the open source communities. There are many great applications that have made my working life easier and more efficient, applications which I’ve added to my toolbox and use on a daily basis. A lot of my blog will most likely include them, as well as the ‘not so free’ applications which are prominent in this industry.
While I’m here, I’d also like to thank Petri Purho from kloonigames for allowing me to use his moo cow for my logo.
